Go watch the Sectionals episode.
When Sam comes down the aisle singing with Quinn, Blaine turns his head and at the time it made everyone think that maybe he knew Sam from Dalton or something, and some people started thinking that they dated or something. But then Silly Love Songs came along and we realized that Blaine has never had a boyfriend and that Sam is...most likely straight and since he has money issues I doubt he ever went to Dalton.
But it's still an epic crack!ship.

There was also the thing in Duets when Sam told Quinn he came from an all boys school. Then, two episodes later, we are introduced to Blaine and Dalton and the Warblers. So between Special Education and Silly Love Songs, this crack!ship abounded.

especially since his family is so low on cash. That could've been a big factor in him moving to Mckinley.
