"Seriously, don't worry about it." Artie stressed, moving his hands to fold them in his lap before hesitating and kept them hovering a couple of inches above his coffee-soaked legs as he was wheeled toward the napkin station.

Wes grabbed several napkins and started rubbing them on the boys legs. "I'm so clumsy.

"No, uh- It was probably my fault." Artie said, not completely comfortable but he didn't let on. "Always in the way." He joked, taking a handful of napkins and helped to dry his legs.

Wes sighed. "Still....I'm sorry." HE threw away a few napkins. "My name is Wes by the way." I go to Dalton

Artie smiled, threw his pile of--now soaked--napkins in the trash and pushed his glasses up his nose. "Artie. And, I go to McKinley." He introduced himself, half-wondering is Wes knew Kurt. Probably. Kurt wasn't exactly a shy wallflower.

Of course he knew Kurt. Artie chuckled quietly at himself for even wondering. "Yeah. I was in glee club with him. But who doesn't know Kurt Hummel?" He laughed.

"Truth." Artie commented, slowly moving away to one of the tables because standing--or sitting, in Artie's case--in the way of the napkins was not helpful at a coffee shop. Coffee with the enemy, what would Rachel Berry say? The boy almost laughed. What did you say to the "competition" when they'd just spilled coffee on you and you didn't want to sound like a spy? No, this wasn't awkward at all(!)

Wes sat at a table with Artie. He had no idea what to say to the boy without sounding horribly awkward. "So...um..." Was all he could think of. Wes bit his lip and looked down. He was trying to figure how stupid he looked.

Artie nodded as he casually moved the chair out of the way, as he had done so hundreds of times in this coffee shop before. "Yeah. So." He chuckled, being his usual friendly self even in the most awkward of situations.

Wes tapped his finger on the table, unable to think of anything to say. "Do you want me to go buy you a coffee? It's the least I could do..." He said quietly.

Artie chuckled. "I'm fine, thank you. And really, it was my fault. Sorry for stealing your coffee." He joked.

Wes chuckled. "Well...I'm gonna go get a new one." He nodded and stood up. "You sure you don't want anything?"

"I'm good." Artie nodded at the other boy with a smile. He adjusted his wheelchair so he was as out-of-the-way of the other customers' way as possible. He threw on the brakes so no more coffee accidents would occur. He hoped.

Wes walked up to the counter and order two coffees, one for Artie just to be safe. He brought them back to the table and sat one in front of the boy in the wheelchair.

Artie drummed his fingers against the table rhythmically as he waited for Wes. When he reappeared with two coffees, Artie almost laughed. But instead, he reached out and took the cup of coffee in his hands. "Thanks." He nodded with a smile.

Wes smiled at the boy. "It's no problem at all." Wes always wanted to make people happy and he still felt bad for spilling the coffee. He sat back down and took a sip.

Artie returned the boy's smile and took a sip of his own coffee. His eyes moved around the coffee shop before settling on Wes. "So uh-Well done at Sectionals!" Artie grinned.

Artie took another sip of the coffee the neatly-dressed boy in front of him had bought for him. After the praise, the boy didn't know what to say next. So, again, he looked absently around the coffee shop.

Wes cleared his throat and smoothed out some non-existent wrinkles before taking another sip, looking around and sighs.

Artie pushed his glasses back up his nose again, feeling the warmth of the coffee cup on his fingers. Only half of the boy's fingers felt the heat of the coffee inside the cup because of the gloves he wore to protect his hands from the wheels and people knocking them.

Wes thought through his head and sighs. He settled on the one thing he /knew/ they had in common. "So are things going with preparations for Regionals?" He asked quietly. After he said it he thought he sounded like a spy.

The two smiled , nodded, and walked up to the boys. With big smiles they joined on either side of Artie and Wes. " So.. what are we talking about?" Ethan snickered. " Are you from The New Directions?" questioned Evan. They Didn't wait for a response and sipped out of the coffee cups at the same time.
