When she heard his breath hitch her she immediately took her hand away. It sent thoughts through her mind that maybe he didn't like her how she liked him, maybe he didn't want anything more from her other than a simple friend. "Okay. I usually practice outside when I practice for Cheerio's so we can go ahead out there." She said as she reached for his hand and then tried to play it off as just fixing her shirt. "So, just follow me." She said giving him a small smile and then walked down the hallway and out the sliding glass door to her backyard. To the left was a barbecue, a stereo, and a table and chairs, right in front of them was just a big open space of grass for dancing, and in the back right corner was her trampoline which she hadn't been on since the summer before freshman year.

Mike wished he was like Puck for a fleeting moment, simply so he could say something disgustingly suggestive, and get away with it. Like, 'let's look at your bedroom instead' or... Something. He was desperately exasperated. He watched her fiddle childishly with her skirt and automatically regretted not gripping her hand when it had been closer to him. He let his arms sway nervously by his side before following her. Soon though, he was treated to her backyard. It looked unrealistically smaller than it had before, and before he knew it, he was blurting out the remnants of his past. "Do you remember the last time we were all here together?" He inquired cautiously, curiously, and most of all, quietly. He smiled down at her before dragging his eyes forward to stare at the trampoline.

Santana walked outside and turned to look at him when he asked if she remembered that last time they were all here together. She nodded and smiled. "Yeah. Perfectly." She said with a light laugh. "When we all played spin the bottle but we didn't use a bottle we just kind of kissed each other." She said with a laugh and shook her head remembering how childish they were. Not kissing someone unless it was involved in some sort of game. She stared at the trampoline for a moment and then turned to him. "Why didn't we kiss at all during that game?" She asked him, looking up into his eyes as she waited for an answer. She didn't really understand why they didn't kiss, everyone else kissed each other, just not them.

His smile faltered momentarily as she asked him the question he had been wondering himself. He didn't know, not one bit, but he found himself blurting out an answer all the same. "I don't know," he started, biting his lip awkwardly, "but I'm glad we fixed it." Mike stared at basically anything other than her, shoving his hands in his pockets nervously. He wished he could take it back, they only fixed it because Santana had kissed him, and from what he assumed, they weren't meant to speak of it again.

Santana nodded and turned away from him so she wasn't looking at him and smiled slightly to herself, she was also glad that they had changed that. She also kind of wanted to kiss Mike again though, and then again, and then again. She cleared her throat. "So, are you ready to get started?" She asked him as she turned around, looking at him again.

Giving a finally wanting glance at the rusted toy in the corner, he turned his head and then finally flicked his eyes on to the shorter girl to his side. "Sure," he murmured, a smile ghosting on his lips at an irritably quick pace. Soon enough, it was a face-splitting grin of anticipation. "Let's do it." He then proceeded to chastise himself for that awkward word placement. He cracked his knuckles with a clear of the throat, obviously nervous.

Santana laughed lightly. "A little eager to get started, are we?" She asked smiling at him as he cracked his knuckles and seemed to really want to do it. She went over to the stereo and put cd in that she had made with the song and grabbed the small remote for the stereo. She walked back over to him, twirling the remote slowly in her hand she looked up at him. "Well, Let's get going then." She said with a large grin.

He mumbled several succinct words, jumbled into a mass of self-loathing beneath his breath. Mike shrugged with practiced nonchalance, scratching the back of his neck to further straddle the line between awkward and idiotic. "Just play it Cheerio," he purred teasingly, retreating to a sitting position on the grass. He hoped she didn't have a dog or anything, or else he might be sitting in its best work.

Santana smiled at him. "I am, I am." She said and got into her position on the ground next to him, she stared at him for a few moments and then looked away and used the remote to hit play. They started the dance, running through it. She was making a lot less mistakes as she did last time. She had practiced it a few times between the last time she had worked with Mike and today.

Mike stuck his tongue out at her childishly before beginning the dance. The near lack of mistakes were overpoweringly obvious, and he suppressed his cocky smirk. She had been practicing, it seemed. He realized this the most when he almost toppled over himself at the part where he stared down at her. That cursed goddamn part that just. Advfjsjdgjfliikfs. But almost far too quickly, the dance was over. He sat up with furrowed brows. "Sorry." He mumbled through pursed lips. "You were great though, have you been practicing?" He said, a light pant in his throat.

Santana gave him a small smile. "It's fine." She said with a smile still spread across her lips. She scoffed dramatically when he asked if she had been practicing. Of course she had but she wouldn't admit that. "Pshh, No." She said staring at him like he was crazy. "I'm just perfect." She said with a small shrug, hoping that he was buying her little lie she was making.

Coming from anyone else, he wouldn't have bought that one bit, but the confidant shrug she sent his way made him cock a brow curiously. Mike flailed for a quick moment, erratically. His sporadic movement caused him to tumble backward, slipping an arm over his eyes to shield himself from the sun. "You're too fast for your own good then." He said, bringing back the joke from their last meeting. In all honestly, he didn't want to have to compliment her further, Santana managed to possess the endearing ego of a basketball playing lion, and he refused to be at blame for any further flattering. "How the hell did you get that good then?" His smile was incredulous, but he couldn't help himself.

Santana smiled at him and laid back on the grass next to him when he tumbled backwards. "How did I get so good?" She asked with a small smirk and thought for a moment. Trying to think of an excuse to use as to why she was so good that didn't involve her telling him she practiced a lot. "Well, I don't know. Maybe I am just a better dancer than you are." She said with a teasing smirk as she gave his chest a teasing poke and then rolled onto her back, not looking at him anymore. A smile still on her face.

How did she get so good? He didn't know. Sleeping with Puck, maybe? Jealousy pooled childishly in his stomach, leaving behind a familiar dull ache of desire. She did this too him often and unknowingly, twisting his heart until it was a jumbled mass of feelings and foreboding that he couldn't decipher. But she was kidding, about dancing goddammit, obvious by the poke she gave to his chest, but the throbbing in his brain and the boiling of his blood caused a chain reaction of adrenaline to pump like a drug in his veins. Mike rolled on top of her gracefully, knees on the ground on either side of her, hands mocking their actions by her head. He leaned a specific direction to attempt to look at her better. "Better dancers are usually more aware of their surroundings." He cooed quietly.

Santana let out a surprised gasp when Mike was suddenly straddling her. That was something she definitely did not see coming from him. Her mind went completely blank and she just stared at up at him as he hovered above her. She sure as hell wasn't going to admit how much she practiced but maybe she would admit that she did practice a little to him because he seemed like he was going to keep pushing until he found out exactly how she got so good at this dance. She opened her mouth to talk and nothing came out, she was just staring at Mike with her mouth open, still shocked at their position in her backyard. She cleared her throat. "Okay. So maybe I practiced the dance once or twice since our last practice." She said with a small shrug, trying to ignore the fact that they were in a very sexual position right now, with him on top of her.

It felt like he was sleep walking, as if he was not one bit conscious when he got in this position, but he had to deal with the inevitable consequences. And. It. Sucks. He was left straddling her, subconsciously sending her bedroom eyes like there was no tomorrow. His face neared her's teasingly, and either he was unaware of what he was doing, or too love drunk to give a damn. For a moment their breaths mixed together, warm and lusting. Then he bent down, giving her two quick kisses, tantalizingly mocking the number of times she practiced. His lips brushed against her's a third time and he spoke. "Just once or twice?" He questioned teasingly.

Santana closed her eyes as she felt his lips against hers once more, getting that same feeling go through her body as the first time they kissed. She leaned up towards him slightly, longing for more when he pulled away. She opened her eyes slowly at his words and internally felt like stabbing him for doing this to her, she hated when guys teased her like this and didn't give her what she wanted. "Okay, maybe more than once or twice." She admitted, staring up at him and into his eyes, practically begging him to lean down and kiss her again.

This wasn't him, he decided intellectually, it was some parasitic sex alien, and he was the host. So how did he posses his mentality? How was he able to feel every sensation as the girl below him kissed back with as much heated fervor as he had? Mike breathed out roughly at her words, kissing the corner of her mouth as she spoke. He tuned in and out of her words, trying to focus hard on the suddenly submissive Santana. He kissed her slowly then, mumbling a swift word against her quivering lips. "Maybe?"

Santana leaned towards him as his lips were against hers again, hoping this little game that Mike was playing was finally over. When he stopped kissing her she groaned slightly from frustration, wanting nothing more then for him to just be quiet and kiss her already and not pull away. As much as she wanted to just lean up and crush her lips against his and ignore his question, she couldn't, the way he was positioned over her prevented her from moving much at all. She clenched her eyes shut. "Okay. I-I practiced a few times, not just twice." She said, opening her eyes and looking into his, hoping he would kiss her again.

She was so vulnerable. If it weren't for him already being on his hands and knees, he would've crashed down, his legs feeling like jelly beneath him. He leaned down, kissing lightly at her neck while she stuttered and admitted the truth, he brushed his lips against her jawline until he reached the shell of her ear, breathing against it gently, the smile was obvious on his lips. "You shouldn't have lied, Cheerio." He teased, a certain finality to his tone, then in and instant, his lips were on her's, merging in fluid urgency.

Santana clenched her teeth together as she felt his lips on her neck and her ear. It took all her self control to not push him off of her and climb on top of him. She was about to open her mouth to reply when she felt his lips against hers. She kissed him back eagerly and slid her arms out from under him. Wrapping her arms around the back of his neck and pulling him down closer to her, deepening the kiss more and more with every second.

Mike tried hard to fall on top of her, what with the sudden arms looping around his neck and dragging him closer to her. There was an undeniable feeling of spontaneity coursing through him. Mike was a gentleman, who was currently making out with Santana, who was not his girlfriend. He had a girlfriend. Although these thoughts butchered his brain, he was unable to stop, and when she furthered the kiss considerably, all he could do was supress the strangled moan building in his throat.

There were no consequences, he thought, if no one found out.

Santana continued to deepen the kiss, keeping him pulled down against her with her arms. She wasn't thinking about anything at the moment. She wasn't thinking about how much this would hurt Tina if she found out, she wasn't thinking about her feelings for Puck. All she was thinking about was the fact that there was an attractive guy on top of her, and they were sucking each others faces. She slid her tongue out of her mouth, running it along his lips teasingly before slipping it into his mouth, intertwining her tongue with his as she grinded her hips lightly against his.

Santana wasn't gentle with her kisses, she didn't stop at his lips to silently beg permission to slip her tongue in, she stated that she would do it, in an unimaginably tantalizing manner. He whined through their lips, when her hips ground against his teasingly, this was more torture than he had comprehended, and definitely more than had dealt. He pulled away, panting. "Wait," he breathed. "We're in your backyard, holy crap." He swallowed.

Santana tried to pull him back to her when he pulled away but he was over her and had much more control to what he did considering her position. When she heard what he said she looked up at him. "Right. We should move. Go somewhere else." She said quietly as she leaned up and pressed her lips against his once more before pulling away, waiting for him to get off of her so they could move.
