Rachel seemed to flourish at the applause from her classmates. It was practically what she lived for, and she knew she deserved it. She gasped in surprise as Finn swept her into his arms and kissed her right in front of everyone. Rachel kissed him back, scarlet in the face, but grinning widely as she broke away, though she stayed in his arms. She caught Tina flashing her a thumbs up and sent one back her way, mouthing a 'thanks' to go with it.

Santana was one of the few people who "forgot" to clap when Rachel finished her song. She was getting pretty bored now with all these performances and now that Mike apparently wasn't going to go she didn't find herself needed at all. Mr. Schue wasn't there so she could get away with ditching. She stood up and leaned over to whisper into Puck's ear. "I'll see you tonight. Around 7?" She said in a seductive tone and then stood back up. "I have to pee." She announced to everyone so they would know why she was leaving, and then she walked out of the choir room. She wasn't really planning on coming back.

[Time Line: Moments after Blaine & Kurt enter...]

Sam felt as butterflies populated his stomach and was fluttering out of control when Kurt had walked in. He released a bashful smile and his face turned the colour of scarlet. But it had sunk like the Titanic, hard and deep, when Blaine had emerged from behind him…
He instantly knew it was him. A guy like him was unmistakable. He admired his dark curls and how they framed his perfectly chiselled complection…
And, oh no. This could not be happening. Not here. Not now. Not ever. Sam felt his stomach turn and his heart began to pump harder and harder.
“Igotogo”, he had barely managed. Scatting from the choir room, faster then a lighting bolt, and one things for sure- he had no intention on ever turning back.

Emma watched intently as people one by one had started to flea from glee. So she assumed it was time to wrap it up:
"Amazing job, guys! Well done. Our next session will be the following Monday. Good-bye!"

And Will returns. Applause is heard. No one is there though, so this post makes no sense...especially the applause part. However, Mr. Schue does return to the choir room and he does, indeed, sit down at the piano where he thinks (quite deeply, I might add) about his lesson plans for his Spanish class and also thinking about the set list. Uh huh, uh huh. Can't tame Schue.

"Uh...Señor Schuester?" Delilah said as her head peaked through the doorway. She was confused to if she were suppose to talk to him in Spanish or not. But anyways, she wanted to meet her actual instructor. She knew that New Directions was preparing for Regionals and everything, and she was still very confused.

Schuester looks up from his work and notices someone he doesn't recognize enter the room. He was also confused as to why she used his title that was only used in his Spanish class. Well, he assumed that since he'd been out for so long that this was a potential new member to New Directions and he should welcome her just as he had welcomed everybody else. He grinned his signature Schue grin and stood up, resting his palms on the piano as he did so. "It's Mr. Schue when in New Directions, but good to know people use Spanish outside of the classroom. Even if it is only my title..." he said, before pausing and thinking about what he'd just said. Weird. "...Anyway. How can I help you?"

"Oh hi, I'm Delilah Fincham. I auditioned and made it into Glee last week. I heard you were sick and now you're back! So I wanted to introduce myself." Delilah said with a sweet grin.

It was that time again- glee, and Mr. Schue still remained absent. Meaning, Emma once again had to test her leadership skills and host another glee club session. She strolled into the choir room, faintly shocked she was the first one to arrive. Well, she was the educator and they were teenagers who in fact had other classes and such to deal with. She gave a quick nod and wave to Brad who was merrily playing a soft melody off of the piano. She set her Kate Spade bag on the piano and wrote: "GLEE CLUB PERFORMANCES!!" on the white board in her familiar penmanship. Emma swiftly made her way to the piano once more and after dusting it off, perched herself upon it- waiting intently for the students to arrive.

Rachel entered the choir room not too long after Mrs. Pillsbury did. She slowed once she saw the guidance counselor seated on the piano. "Mrs. Pillsbury," Rachel said in surprise. Her left hand moved immediately behind her to hide the ring on her finger and hoped the movement wasn't too obvious. But she wasn't quite ready for people at school to know quite yet. "Is Mr. Schuester still sick?"

Finn walked into the choir room the way he entered most rooms- eating. He had stopped by the vending machine on the way to rehearsal to grab a bag of chips because his stomach had been growling since last period. The teacher had shot him a few dirty looks, but how was he supposed to help it?! Plus, he could never pay attention when he was hungry so he figured a snack would be a good idea so he could focus on glee. Everybody won that way. It was no shock that Rachel had beat him there- she always did. But Finn knew she liked it when he arrived early too so he made his way to the choir room as quick as he could. He also noticed Ms. Pillsbury standing where Mr. Schue usually did. Dang, he had been absent forever it seemed. Finn hoped he wasn't, like, dying or something. He tossed his bag on the floor next to the seat where Rachel had put her things and walked over to her. "Hey babe." he kissed her cheek quickly (because going any further with Ms. Pillsbury in the room was just weird) and waved to the redheaded guidance counselor. "Hey Ms. P."

“Hello Rachel,” Ms. Pillsbury greeted, cheerfully. She nodded solemnly in regards to Mr. Schuester absence. “He’s still awfully ill, I’ve heard he was sick with mono,” she told her, as she bit her lip down hard. Emma had heard a series of rumours based on the fact he had mono; the kissing sickness. Some things on the lines of having affairs with students that transmitted the diseases and or....she shuddered as she shook those thoughts out of her head. As much as she convinced herself she was over Will, being a married woman and all, she was rather displeased with having to hear such horrific things.

“So Rachel-“she was just about to ask her a few questions about their glee performances but was briefly interrupted when Finn Hudson stocked into the room. She watched as he pecked Rachel on the cheek and beamed at the happy couple. They were so sweet together, and it was so refreshing to see such a passionate duo. They’ve both really come a long way, she noticed, especially after their couple counselling meetings.

“Hey Finn”, she responded, smiling widely. Then she cleared her throat: “So what was your glee club assignment for the week? I’m guessing you chose the genre and project, Rachel?”

Delilah walked into the choir room with her bag. She was extremely nervous today, she would be presenting her first Glee assignment. She thought she was going to faint. Ack! She looked around the room to see Rachel, Finn, and...And...she didn't know. "Hi Rachey! Finny!" she said to her new friends, walking before hugging the couple. She looked over to the guidance counselor. "You're not Señor Schuester." she said to the red-haired woman. "Unless...he was really a she, and he's showing his true colors...OH MY GOD!" Delilah exclaimed at her theory.

"That's awful!" Rachel cried, concerned. She briefly wondered, though, who Mr. Schue had been kissing if he had gotten mono. Last time she had heard, Mr. Schue was single. She shrugged it off, and said, "I hope he's better soon." Rachel lit up as Finn entered the room. Her hand instinctively found his and she twined their fingers together and leaned her head against his shoulder with a ridiculously goofy grin on her face. Nothing had gone bad that day, and being around the love of her life always put her in a better mood. "No, Mr. Schuester emailed me the assignment," she told Mrs. Pillsbury in response. "We were to pick a partner-someone we wouldn't normally work with-and create a mash-up using popular songs from when we were kids."

Rachel looked startled as Delilah hugged her out of no where, but she smiled and said, "Hi Delilah." She raised her eyebrows at the girl's theory and said, "No, this is Mrs. Pillsbury, McKinley's guidance counselor. Mr. Schuester is out sick."

Brittany bounced into the room and scanned to see who was already here. She didn't see any of the people she usually sat with and debated just turning around and leaving. She knew she was good at spacing out, so she would do just that if this glee meeting was boring. She went and sat in the back row without saying anything to anyone. Finn and Rachel were being disgustingly adorable, Mrs. Pillsbury always spoke to Brittany weird, and then Brit didn't know who the other girl was. She sat and stared at the door and waited for either Santana or Mike to show up.

Emma was in loss for words as her mouth gaped open and her eyes blinked frequently at the strangers’ theory. She felt rather thankful that Rachel had explained who she was, easing her person awkwardness. “Yes, Rachel’s right. I’m Emma Pillsbury-Howell,” she formally introduced herself, shaking her hand elegantly. Smiling radiantly, she said: “You must be New Direction’s newest member!” She clapped her hands, enthusiastically. “Awesome! We have such a talented bunch! I’m so happy to hear we have a new addition to the Glee family! Welcome!” With a simple pat on the back, she went back to scribbling on the white board.
Then she heard Brittany stagger into the choir room, and turned her head to meet the blonde’s eyes. “Why hello, Brittany! What a pleasure to have you joining us. Did you consider the talk we had the other day?” She asked, setting down the marker once more.

Finn smiled and hugged Delilah back. She was like a little sister to him, sorta. "Hey Dee!" he high fived her with the hand that wasn't laced with Rachel's. "You ready to blow the roof off this place?" He was so psyched to show everyone their song. They had worked so hard on it, and he was proud of what they had accomplished together. It proved that he had the ability to work with someone other than Rachel, and he could be a real leader. His head turned to the door when he heard it open and waved to Brittany. "Hey Britt!"

Brittany gave a little nod to Finn then looked at the guidance counselor. She had indeed thought about their conversation, but mostly about the duck. "Yeah. I want that duck." She pouted a little and was completely oblivious to what the conversation had actually been about. She looked down at her fingernails and started humming 'I'm a little tea pot'.

Tina walked in to the Glee class room, seeing that Ms. Pillsbury, the power couple Finchel, Brittany had been there. She picked a seat behind a girl she hadn't seen before. "Hey," she decided to greet the new kid. "I haven't seen you around. You must've been new here, right? I'm Tina," she smiled and offered her hand to shake with hers.

After Math class, Sam stumbled into the choir room with a relieved grin expressed on his face. It had been a tiring day as per normal, and he’d been looking forward to spending some quality time with his glee buds and the sweet symphony of their voices harmonizing. Glee was naturally his number one escape from all that pressure that surrounded him day by day.

He greeted Ms. Pillsbury with a friendly hello, and he waved to the rest of the kids chilling in the choir room. Sam threw his book bag on a seat and parked himself down on to the chair next to Finn, his book bag placement was for reserving a spot for Quinn. “What’s up man?” Sam asked, exchanging a fist pump. He leaned over to smile and wave at Rachel. “How have you guys been?”

Santana walked into the Choir room and smiled as she saw Brittany sitting up by herself and humming. She walked past Sam and Finn, giving them a small smile and mumbling a quiet "Hey," before walking up to Brittany and sitting down next to her. "Hey Brit." She said and set her purse down next to her chair and looked over at Rachel, suddenly remembering that they would be performing their duets today and she was partners with Rachel. She gave her a small smile because she figured if she was going to be working with her today she should at least acknowledge her existence.

Rachel nodded at Brittany as the blonde entered the room. She had never been on great terms with Brittany, but the girl was sweet although dim-witted and wasn't as awful about teasing Rachel as some other people were. She looked up in confusion as the Cheerio mentioned a duck, then shook her head and decided to just go with it. She had grown accustomed to Brittany's babble for the most part, although she sometimes said things that made her stop in her tracks.

As Tina walked in, Rachel smiled tentatively at her. She had always respected the girl, seeing as she was fairly pleasant and headstrong and had a nice enough voice. She didn't think Tina liked her very much, though. Maybe it had something to do with the whole 'Tonight' incident? Rachel had thought she apologised for being such a diva (though who could blame her really? She was born to play Maria.), though she could have been mistaken...

She waved at Sam when he entered. Rachel had never really talked to him before, but he was one of Finn's friends, so he had to be a good guy, right? Even if he was dating Quinn. "We're swell!" she exclaimed. Except for, of course, the issue Karofsky still presented, but together she and Finn decided not to mention it. The club had a right to know, but it would have caused too many issues and it was too close to Regionals to have problems messing up the Glee club. "How about you?" she asked, in an effort to try her resolution on not making everything about herself.

Santana walked in, and Rachel braced herself for an insult headed her way. Sure, they were partners for a duet, but one rehearsal wasn't going to change all the bad blood between them. Therefore, when the Latina smiled at her, Rachel gaped slightly in shock, then managed to return the smile briefly. She had expected to be ignored, or at least insulted, and so she was entirely unprepared for that particular act of kindness, no matter how small it was. "Are you ready to preform?" she asked hesitantly, not wanting to push anything but unwilling to let the chance of not being picked on, at least for a little, go.

Santana stared at her and looked around. "You want to go first?" She asked raising an eyebrow at her. "No lets not go first. We can so second. That way if whoever goes before us is totally awesome and we suck compared to them. I can just sneak out and I won't have to perform it." She said with a light shrug as if what she just said was completely normal and not weird at all.

"I-I was just asking if you were ready," Rachel rushed to assure her. "We don't have to go first if you don't want to." Rachel reached up as if she were about to pat Santana's knee to console her, but then realised how awkward that would be and quickly covered her almost error by running her hand through her hair. "And we have nothing to worry about. We're going to kick butt," she said with a confident smile.

Finn smiled and waved at the other glee members as they trickled in. Everyone seemed pretty much the same. It seemed like the ones with the biggest news were Rachel and himself, but they weren't screwing with their chance at Regionals by announcing anything, so that meant there really was nothing new. When he heard Rachel and Santana mention not wanting to go first, he knew this was a problem he could take care of. "We'll go first." he said, glancing at Delilah. "If you're cool with it," he added. "I mean, I think we did good. Why not, you know?"
