"Wow. Well I know I'd never survive at Mckinley!" Reed laughed. He could barely maneuver the halls of Dalton without bumbing into someone, let alone take a different route everyday. "Although, I wouldn't mind getting rid of the uniform..." he made a face thinking of the red and blue blazer he was forced into every day. Being the son of a fashion designer, Reed hated wearing uniforms. They were especially constricting while painting.

Mercedes laughed. "They're not all that bad." She said. Then took another look at the uniform "Okay maybe a little." She said.

Reed laughed. "Well when your mom's a fashion icon you tend to get used to critiquing clothing." he frowned, looking toward the floor.

"Sometimes she can get a little controlling, that's all" he shrugged off. "No big deal I guess. She just wants what's best for me" He didn't want Mercedes to feel sorry for him. He knew that his mother wanted what was best for him, even if she could be demanding.

Mercedes shrugged "That's what all mothers want..." she said looking at the ceiling then back at Reed "but hey we have to deal with it."

"Does your mom do that too?" he asked curiously. Mercedes seemed extremely confident from what he could tell. It was hard to imagine that she would have similar problems to him.
